Induction bent pipes for Ricoh Arena


Barnshaws has yet again proven to be specialists in structural bends as the company worked alongside M&D Welding to provide quality induction bent pipes to Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

The metal bending experts were awarded the work due to exceptional induction bending knowledge and experience that was instrumental for the project.

Barnshaws Tividale branch delivered 219mm od pipes curved to 1422 RAD through 99 degrees. The pipes were used for digital screens for the football/rugby stadium.

Barnshaws mitred pipe bends utilized for Camp Basra tensile canopies


Barnshaw Section Benders have supplied the company Adey Steel with quality steel bends, which were used for the Phase One Camp Basra tensile canopies. Barnshaws were evidently chosen by the sub-contractor due to the competitive pricing and fast lead time.


9.7 tonne of mitred pipe bends were provided to the project. Within 7 working days Barnshaws have bought the material, bent it as requested and cut it to length. Overall the company supplied the project with 95 tubes 139.7 x 5 CHS 6186 mm long, 17668 mean/Radius.
