Leopardstown Racecourse is getting a makeover

Leopardstown Racecourse is now taking shape and Barnshaws experts have supplied excellent metal bending service. Duggan Systems, who have chosen Barnshaws due to competitive pricing and previous outstanding service supplied on numerous projects, contracted the summer 2013 project.

Although work is still in progress, Barnshaws’ curved window frames for the racecourse look remarkable. The job involved 62 pieces of aluminium extrusions rolled to a given template. The customer was also informed that unlike many competitors, the items have been formed in a carbon free area, on specialised tooling that results in little or no surface marking to the finished sections.

31 pieces of aluminium extrusion, 69x65 in size, were rolled to a template in 180-degree segments. The other 31 small bead profiles were processed in the same way.

Duggan Systems is very satisfied with the supplied product and we at Barnshaw Section Benders are anticipating the new look of the racecourse when the project is finished!
